A very early date indicator watch. Possibly an Elbon prototype because I have never seen another one. Even the case is stamped "ELBON CALENDAR".

It is not running but the movement is very clean and seems gummed up. The movement is stamped with a "36" and a "9". It Winds, Sets, and the date advances every 24 hours. 35.2mm lug to lug. 27.3mm wide without crown.

I have too many to list so if there are any ones in partucular you are looking for, including parts, please message me. Antique, vintage watches are to be cared for. Winding should always be done in a soft back and forth motion so as not to overwind the mainspring. Also they are never waterprrof like the watches of today, even if stated on the watch itself.

If drpped on a hard surface they may stop working from the shock damage. Sometimes a slight twisting back and forth may be need to give them a little jump start. Watches have many intricate moving parts and require cleaning and lubrication just like a car engine.

Please take care of your vintage watches. I will make every effort to describe the details to your understanding in order to ensure your satisfaction.

If you require more information or pictures, just ask. Even if running, I do not know when last serviced unl ess specifically stated. Many have been sitting in the safe for years and may require cleaning and or oil. We deal ONLY in FINE QUALITY, NATURAL DIAMONDS AND GEMSTONES.

Nothing man made, lab created or synthetic. Thank you for stopping by. This item is in the category "Jewelry & Watches\Watches, Parts & Accessories\Watches\Wristwatches".
